Tata Motors has introduced a new value for money XM+ variant on their Altroz premium hatchback in India. Prices for this new mid-spec variant starts from Rs6.60L (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol version.
Features on the new XM+ Variant includes the following:
7” touchscreen system
Android auto and Apple carplay
Steering mounted audio controls
Voice commands
16” Steel rims with wheel covers
Remote flip key
This new XM+ variant sits between the XM and XT variants and is priced Rs30,000 more than the lower XM trim.
Other standard features carried over from the lower variants include:
Electric power steering
Manual AC
Front and rear Power windows
Electric ORVMs
Body coloured door handles and ORVMs
Harman speaker system
Dual Airbags
ABS with EBD
Corner stability control
Pretensioner seatbelts
Engine immobilizer
Reverse sensors
This new mid spec variant is supposed to be launched as a reaction to the launch of the new 3rd Gen Hyundai i20. This XM+ variant directly competes against the Magna variant of the new i20 and still offers more features while also being lower in terms of price comparatively.
The new XM+ variant is likely to boost the sales of the Altroz even further.
