    I own a ford fiesta mk7 ,2012 model .. it's style variant which is one below the titanium variant and it's having ford's dual clutch powershift gearbox... What i have to say is that You all might know Ford DPS6 or powershift dual clutch was a huge problem maker especially in the U.S and Australia alot of fiesta's and focus's had problem with the dual clutch but i have had no issues with it till today.  I mean yes to be honest it's a raw dry dual clutch automatic transmission i wont be good in city traffic, u won't get

    the feel of a torque converter, sometimes it feels u want to push the accelerator a bit to get going,feels like the shudder but thats characteristic of dual clutchs iam just nitpicking it i felt that only 2 or 3 times its fine for most of us i had put on 40000kms on it .it hasn't run much but considering that i trash this car in the corner a bit enthusiastic driving and that's what the fiesta is all about in fact all ford cars are great when it comes to driving dynamics. What i love most is about the dynamics. Ford always has a blend of comfort and dynamics which makes it a family yet sporty car to drive for most of the people. I am a ford loving guy my dad had a ford Mondeo in Dubai . It was epic was so much love with that car . It's the first time i really was sad even my dad too. Since then i kind off had love for ford cars. Now i have a ford fiesta and iam happy with it.


    When i bought this car i bought it with a double mind as i liked the performance of Aspire TDCi. Later i choose amaze as i prioritised the rear space comfort. After buying the car i found that it is also fun to drive as i personally like the steering wheel feedback on this car. 
     

    Since the bonnet is visible it helps in precise driving. And also there is good rear legroom and also ample boot space. 
     

    Coming to negatives, since the torque is less, crossing a speed bump on 2nd gear might be bit time consuming as with any

    other 1.2L NA petrol engine. 
     

    Since the suspension is a bit on the softer side when the car is fully loaded say with 5 members in total then the under belly might get hit on the speed bumps if not careful.

     

    Overall am happy with my purchase decision and am looking forward to clock 1L km on the speedo to test Honda engine's longevity. 


    Got my Altroz delivered on the 11th of June and since day 1, it has exceeded my expectations. First off, the build quality is top-notch.

    Styling is best in class and I could assure you that you wouldn't have seen a better-looking hatch in the roads. Even in its base Variant, the car is very eye-catching. Coming to the interiors, space is ample and you could easily fit in a family of 5.

    The interior quality and the materials usedares also very good. Though there are many hard plastic bits, they don't feel cheap.

    is very nice. The engine feels responsive in 2.5k- 4k rpm. In the lower and higher rev range, the revs climb very slowly.

    The car feels very stable at high speeds. It could cruise in 100-130 kmph, but after that, the engine feels very stressed. Overtaking in highways require pre-planning and sudden overtaking is not much possible. This is the only downside that I've experienced. But the car is no slouch either.

    In cities, it is very easier to overtake in 3rd or 4th gears and you will feel that the car is adequately powered for its weight. Brakes are really sure-footed and theare is no nose dives. Boot space is ample and it is well practical.

    There are many reviews where the Altroz is described as underpowered. But I have felt the lack of power only above 1mphmph. Below that, if you are in the right gear, you would feel that the car is well powered if you are on the right gear. On the whole, it is a very good buy if space, looks and ride quality is your utmost priority.
