The production-spec Nissan Magnite seems to retain most of the concept’s design elements including the large grille, the Sharp creases and the funky alloy wheels. It has even the same sculpted bonnet and angular headlights. Since the Magnite was originally meant to be launched as a Datsun, the grille bears resemblance to the other Datsun models.

The side profile looks muscular with prominent body cladding and large wheel arches which seem to dwarf the 16” wheels. The higher spec variants also receive a dual-tone roof option, blacked-out pillars and silver roof rails. At the back, the Magnite sports sharp looking tail lamps which resemble those on the Triber's, a clean tail gate and a dual tone bumper. The Magnite is also set to be the first model in India to sport the new Nissan logo.

The interior too is quite close to the concept with a large, centrally mounted 8” touchscreen and layered dashboard with hexagonal AC vents.

The Nissan Magnite will be available with two engine options. The first will be the 1.0L Energy series, 3 cylinder Naturally aspirated engine from the Renault Triber, producing 72PS Power through a 5 speed manual gearbox. The second powertrain will be a new HRA0 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol unit producing around 100PS (97bhp) of power and 160Nm of torque which will be mated to a 5 speed manual transmission option as well as an X-TRONIC CVT automatic gearbox.

The new HRA0 1.0 3 cylinder turbocharged engine will get mirror bore cylinder coating technology from its legendary sport's car Nissan GT-R which will help to reduce the resistance inside the powertrain and also it will increase the overall efficiency of the engine.

The XE variant will be available only with the 1.0L naturally aspirated engine.

Nissan Magnite Available on 8 Colours:

Flare Garnet Red With Onyx Black,
Vivid Blue With Strom White, Tourmaline Brown onyx Black, Onyx Black,

Skoda is getting ready for an aggressive 2021. Apart from the new-generation Octavia and Kodiaq petrol next year, Skoda will debut it’s all new ‘India 2.0’ products, starting with an all-new SUV and sedan.

All new mid size SUV (Vision IN):

    Skoda Vision India SUV

The most eagerly awaited product is the upcoming Creta fighter that will be a mid-size SUV developed and manufactured entirely for India.

This new mid size SUV was first previewed by the Vision IN concept at the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo. The production-spec version will retain most of the design elements from the

concept. This new SUV will be over 4.2m-long and have a 2,671mm wheelbase. It will be based on the India-specific MQB A0 IN platform.

This new Mid size SUV will be available with two engine options. Lower variants are expected to get the 110hp, 1.0-litre TSI engine with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Higher variants will be getting the 150hp, 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol motor from the Karoq and will be mated to a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

    Fourth Gen Skoda Octavia:

    Skoda Octavia

The launch of the all new fourth-gen Octavia has been pushed to the April-June 2021 period.

The new Octavia has already been spied testing in India and the India spec model ditches the quad-headlamp setup. The new car adopts the brand’s latest design language and looks similar to the facelifted Superb. The interior gets a new dashboard design, a freestanding 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit digital dials among other features.

The new Octavia will get a 190hp, 2.0 TSI turbo-petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic. However, the lower variants are likely to get the 150hp, 1.5 TSI Petrol engine from the Karoq.

    Skoda Kodiaq petrol BS6:

    Skoda Kodiaq

The Kodiaq’s 150hp, 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine will be replaced by the 190hp, 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that is already offered on the Volkswagen Tiguan All-space and Skoda Superb. No exterior or interior changes are expected to the updated model.

    All new Generation Skoda Rapid:

    Skoda Rapid

The final product for the 2021 year will be the new mid-size sedan that will replace the decade-old Rapid Sedan in India.

Like the production-spec Vision IN SUV, the upcoming sedan will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform that will bring in key improvements in terms of space and technology. The new Sedan will be larger than the current Rapid and will introduce a lot of features to keep up with competition from the New Honda City. The new Rapid is expected to be priced smartly as well. The engine however, will be the same 110hp, 1.0 TSI turbo-petrol motor mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Stay tuned for further updates on the all new Skoda cars.

In terms of looks, the Facelifted model receieves many visual updates. The front looks a bit more aggressive and more modern. LED headlamps, new bumper design and grille give it the much needed change from the boring avatar it had. The rear has remained mostly unchanged apart from the LED tail lamps and a rear skid plate integrated quite well into the rear bumper.

The interior of the new Facelifted Nissan Kicks is quite different from the existing India-spec model. The central AC vents are positioned above the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system while it also has a semi-digital instrument cluster with

Nissan Magnite Compact SUV - All You Need To Know

a 7-inch TFT display. Other changes include a flat-bottom steering wheel, updated centre console for the e-Power drive train, six airbags, active safety systems like front collision warning and rear cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, auto headlamps, 360-degree camera and engine start-stop button. That’s a good deal of features to start with!

While the Kicks e-Power and its hybrid powertrain are unlikely to come to India, Nissan could refresh the existing model with updates from the Facelift e-Power version that could go on sale in 2021. Nissan had previously stated it will study the feasibility of the e-Power tech in India, but so far no announcement has been made regarding its introduction. The Thai-spec Nissan Kicks e-Power starts at a price od from Rs 21 lakh (converted 889,000 baht), which is quite a lot of money for a car that size.

The Indian version of the Nissan Kicks recently updated wothBwith complaint with new 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine churning out 156PS, making it the most powerful in this segment The BS6 Kicks has been recently launched with prices ranging between Rs 9.5 lakh and Rs 14.15 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It will continue to rival the likes of the Renault Duster, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta.
